Ajman has a 16 km stretch of white sandy beach which is said to be one of the most picturesque in the country.

Ajman is the smallest of the 7 Emirates that make up the UAE, and is usually the single page entry on any UAE holiday brochure. The fact that it makes an entry at all into the holiday brochures is because of the Ajman Kempinski Hotel. Whilst this hotel has been around for a while, the hotel is certainly worthy of carrying the prestigious Kempinski brand with its luxurious offering and impeccable standards of service. But there is more to Ajman than just this single hotel. Located very only 10km from Sharjah along the Persian Gulf, Ajman has a 16-kilometre stretch of white sandy beach which is considered to be one of the most picturesque beaches in the UAE. This palm lined stretch is a favourite among locals for barbecues and picnics during the cooler weather. Dolphins are common off the coast of Ajman, and dolphin spotting is a popular recreation with tourists and locals alike.

Winters are comfortably warm, with coastal regions enjoying a cooler climate than the mainland. The ocean often rises to a spa-like 37 degrees centigrade.

Between December and March, thunderstorms add an atmospheric brilliance to the dramatic landscapes. June is an arid month, whilst rainfall is largely isolated to February. Sandstorms being reduced visibility with powerful gales between April and February. Autumn and spring bring little diversity: conditions are only slightly subtler than those in summer and winter.
