When booking with Horizon Hoppers Travel you agree to the following terms and conditions.
When booking with Horizon Hoppers Travel Ltd (“Horizon Hoppers Travel”, “we”, “our”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These set out the legal agreement between you (“you”, “the customer”) and Horizon Hoppers Travel Ltd, registered in England No. 15703577, holding ATOL number 12667. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our website www.horizonhopperstravel.co.uk (“Site”) or making a booking. By using our Site or making a booking, you accept these Terms in full. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our Site or make a booking.
All correspondence regarding your booking or customer service inquiries should be sent to our office as detailed at the end of this document.
Your Contract
Your contract will be with Horizon Hoppers Travel Ltd. For your financial protection, all flight-inclusive holidays and flights booked with us are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Your contract with Horizon Hoppers Travel Ltd (“Horizon Hoppers Travel”) begins when we confirm your booking either by email, phone, or other written confirmation. This includes all services listed in your booking, such as flights, hotels, and transfers, if applicable. We are responsible for providing the travel arrangements you booked, and you are responsible for paying for them.
A booking is confirmed only once you receive a confirmation email from us.
In group bookings, the person making the booking accepts financial responsibility for all members of the party. If we, or the suppliers listed on your ATOL certificate, cannot provide the booked services due to insolvency, the Trustees of the Air Travel Trust may make a payment or provide a benefit to you. By accepting this, you assign any claims arising from non-provision of services to the Trustees or any third party who provides the payment.
Financial Protection (ATOL)
All monies paid by you for flight-inclusive holidays or flights booked with Horizon Hoppers Travel Ltd are protected under our ATOL license 12667, in accordance with CAA regulations. ATOL protection ensures that If we, or the suppliers listed on your ATOL certificate, cannot provide the booked services due to insolvency, the Trustees of the Air Travel Trust may provide a refund or repatriation where applicable. ATOL protection applies to flight-inclusive bookings only.
You will receive an ATOL Certificate confirming your protection.
Please note: ATOL protection does not cover hotel-only bookings, transfers, or any other services not sold as part of a flight-inclusive holiday. For these services, financial protection is not provided. ATOL protection applies primarily to customers booking and paying in the United Kingdom.

Payments & Deposits
At the time of booking, a deposit is required. Deposit amounts vary depending on the type of booking, from £100 per person up to the full holiday cost. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 8 weeks before departure. If booking within 8 weeks of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking. Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking and loss of any deposit paid.
Fares and charges are only guaranteed once full payment has been received. Prices may vary before full payment due to fuel surcharges, government taxes, or other supplier-imposed charges. Payment can be made via major credit or debit cards, and all card transactions are subject to authorization. Where a third-party card is used, written authorization from the cardholder is required.
We strongly recommend that customers consider obtaining travel insurance to cover unexpected events, cancellations, or medical emergencies, including non-flight-inclusive services.
Amendments & Cancellations
Amendments & Cancellations by You
If you wish to amend or cancel your booking after confirmation, please notify us in writing.
Airline tickets: Many fares are non-refundable and non-changeable. Amendments may incur fees of up to 100% of the fare.
Hotels and ground services: Some rates are non-refundable. We will confirm specific cancellation terms when booking.
Transfers and excursions: Cancellation or amendments are subject to supplier terms and may not be refundable.
Administration Fee: An additional administration fee may apply to any amendments.
Refunds can take several weeks to process, depending on supplier policies.
Air Reservations
Many airline tickets, particularly discounted fares, carry amendment and cancellation fees, sometimes up to 100%. Amendments and cancellations cannot be processed until original tickets are returned. Refunds for unused tickets will be processed as soon as possible, but airline processing times may take several weeks. An administration fee may apply depending on airline rules.
Hotel Reservations
Hotel bookings are guaranteed for late arrival, but cancellation policies vary by property. Many hotels are non-refundable. Specific cancellation terms will be advised at the time of booking.
Transfer & Excursions Transfers, tours, and excursions booked through Horizon Hoppers Travel are provided by third-party suppliers. These services are not covered by ATOL protection. Cancellation, amendment, or refund is subject to the terms of the relevant supplier.
Alterations by Horizon Hoppers
Although every effort is made to ensure accurate descriptions, we do not operate airlines, hotels, transfers, or suppliers. We may change descriptions or arrangements prior to confirmation without compensation. Where changes occur after payment, suppliers’ decisions are final.
Cancellation by Horizon Hoppers Travel
In the unlikely event that Horizon Hoppers Travel must cancel a booking, a full refund of monies paid will be issued. No additional compensation is payable.
Packages
Horizon Hoppers Travel reserves the right to withdraw packages before departure. Customers may choose an alternative arrangement or receive a full refund. Compensation for cancellation does not apply in cases of force majeure or low bookings. Packages are never cancelled within 30 days of departure except under these circumstances.
Force Majeure & Low Bookings
- Force Majeure includes events beyond our control such as war, riot, terrorism, industrial disputes, natural disasters, adverse weather, or technical failures by suppliers.
- Low Bookings occur when the number of customers booked for a package does not meet the minimum required to operate it viably.
Pricing Policy
All prices on our Site are subject to availability. Prices may increase due to government action, fuel surcharges, taxes, or exchange rate fluctuations. Horizon Hoppers Travel absorbs up to 2% of price changes, with any additional amount passed to the customer. If the total increase exceeds 8% of your holiday price, you will have the option to cancel and receive a full refund.
Passports & Visas
It is your responsibility to comply with passport, visa, and health requirements for your destination. Most countries require passports to be valid for at least 6 months after return. We can provide guidance, but you must ensure compliance. Horizon Hoppers Travel is not liable for losses arising from non-compliance.
Suppliers’ Conditions
Bookings are subject to the standard terms of the relevant suppliers. These may limit liability in accordance with international conventions. Copies (hard copy only) are available on request but may take up to 30 days.
Special Requests
Special requests (e.g., dietary needs, room preferences) should be made at the time of booking. We will pass these on to suppliers, but they cannot be guaranteed.
Departure Taxes
It is not always possible to include all departure taxes in your booking price. Any additional taxes must be paid locally and are non-refundable.
Delivery of Booking & Tickets
E-tickets and travel documents will be sent electronically to the email address provided at booking. Please check all details carefully upon receipt. If you do not receive your documents within 14 days of departure, contact us immediately. We (Horizon Hoppers Travel) are not responsible for lost tickets due to incorrect email or postal addresses. Hard copy tickets can be arranged for an additional fee.
APIS (Advance Passenger Information)
You agree to provide accurate APIS data for relevant countries, which we pass to airlines and authorities. Failure to provide accurate information may result in denied boarding.
Customer Behaviour
You must behave responsibly and comply with local laws and supplier rules. We reserve the right to cancel arrangements without refund if your behaviour endangers others, causes damage, or breaches regulations.
Use of the Site
Our website is provided “as is” without warranty. Horizon Hoppers is not responsible for:
- Site downtime or technical errors
- Data loss
- Unauthorized access or viruses
You agree to use the site only for legitimate bookings.
Privacy & Data Protection
We take your privacy seriously. Your personal information is used only for processing bookings and communicating with suppliers. We comply with the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR. Your payment details are encrypted and processed securely.
Changes to Terms & Conditions
Horizon Hoppers Travel reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website and take effect immediately upon publication.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
