Like much of South Eastern Asia, Southern Thailand does not really have four distinctive seasons.

For the most part, the weather can be classified into two seasons that you will experience during your Krabi holiday; rainy and dry (and variations thereof).  Krabi’s climate and the timing of the rainy and the dry season is influenced by its location on the Western coast of the long, skinnny peninsula of land connecting Thailand and Maylasia (right across from the more well known and well touristed Phuket).  The weather during your holiday to Thailand visiting Krabi will depend on which way the winds are coming from; from the Northeast during one half of the year (dry season) or from the southwest during the other half of the year (rainy season).  These dates are just a guideline; as such, the rainy season could begin or end a little earlier than expected, or rain could intrude into your holiday in Thailand during the dry season.
