Jeddah is a vibrant and cosmopolitan city that offers a unique blend of modernity and tradition. The city has a rich history, dating back to the 7th century, and has been an important center of trade and commerce for centuries. Jeddah is also known for its stunning architecture, including the iconic King Fahd's Fountain, which is the highest fountain in the world, and the historic Al-Balad district, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Whether you are interested in soaking up the sun on the beach, exploring the city's cultural heritage, or simply relaxing in one of its many parks, Jeddah is sure to leave a lasting impression.

Famous in the Islamic world as the gateway to the pilgrimage sites, a holiday to Jeddah does not rank as highly amongst pilgrims anxious to get to Makkah to commence their spiritual journey of a lifetime.
The fact that tourist visas to Saudi Arabia are very hard to come means that Jeddah does not feature as a premier tourist destination amongst non Muslims either. This is a shame as Jeddah actually has a lot to offer visitors from all cultures and religions. Umra combined with a holiday in Jeddah is definitely something worth considering and a Saudi Arabia tourist itinerary should definitely include a couple of nights in this city.

Winters, starting from October till March is the best time to go to Jeddah . The average temperatures during this season range between 20 to 30 degrees Celsius.
